Coal Field Times has emerged as a super power in the history of weekly Bengali news papers by a continuous thrive on integrity and courage. We have been able to bid adieu to a lot of prevailing practices of yellow journalism by our sincerity, honesty and dedication.

The Vision of CoalField Times was to establish a difference in this musrooming newspaper world, where the news are served more by camoflaging facts. The fear and provocation have purchased the newspaper and labelled mostly as viewspaper.

We have proved famous song of Tagore "Where the mind is without fear" in reality. We try to dig out the truth and publish it to our valuable readers. We have been threatened, attacked, induldged, but still we have not been deviated from our ideology, "A real fearless newspaper".

 

Coalfield Times took his birth on 12th Nov. 1978 as Bengali News Weekly and being published uninterruptedly for nearly 31 years and generates deep sense of pride to the newspaper lovers of the country .It is the pride all of us that coalfield times is the oldest vernacular weekly in the country registered with INS(Indian Newspaper Society), New Delhi.
